Pegla support
Write to support@devolent.com with any question about Pegla. It helps if you tell us your phone or tablet and its system version, what you did and what the app showed. A screenshot helps too.
What you need
- iPhone or iPad with iOS or iPadOS 17 or later.
- An Android phone or tablet with Android 7.0 or later.
- A pegboard and fuse beads. Pegla is made for Midi beads, the common 5 mm size.
Which boards and beads work
- Boards from Hama, Panduro, Perler, Artkal and IKEA (Pyssla): square boards in their sizes, two or four square boards side by side, and shaped boards such as hexagons, hearts, stars and circles. Pick yours when you start a design.
- Bead colors from the color charts of Hama Midi, Panduro Midi, Perler and Artkal Midi, by each brand’s own numbers and names. In Settings, under Your beads, check the colors you own, and the color picker shows only those.
Pegla is not affiliated with any of these brands. If your board isn’t there, write to us with its brand and article number, and we’ll look at adding it.
Moving designs to a new phone or tablet
If the old device is backed up (iCloud Backup on iPhone and iPad, Google’s backup on Android), your designs come along when you set up the new one from that backup.
To move them by hand, or between an iPhone and an Android phone:
- On the old device, open My designs, tap the gear for Settings, and choose Export all designs. After the grown-up check, save the file somewhere the new device can reach, such as iCloud Drive, Google Drive or an email to yourself.
- On the new device, open My designs, tap Import and pick the file.
An import never replaces or removes anything already on the device. A design whose name is taken comes in with “from import” and the date after its name, and exact copies are skipped.
Printing at real size
The guide prints the board at real size, so the printout fits under a clear pegboard, bead for bead.
- Open the guide and choose Print (after the grown-up check).
- In the print settings, print at 100% or Actual size. Turn off Fit to page or Scale to fit, or the pegs won’t line up.
- Every page has a 10 cm ruler. Measure it after printing: if it isn’t 10 cm, the printer scaled the page.
- A board bigger than the paper prints on several pages, cut along whole pegs, with one row of pegs repeated where the pages meet.
A design is gone
A deleted design waits 30 days in Recently deleted, at the end of My designs, where you can put it back.
